The 102nd Avenue Crossing Replacement project is near completion. The new bridge reopened to traffic on Saturday. Temporary guard rails along the sidewalk of the bridge will remain in place for the safety of the public until new permanent guardrails arrive.

Earlier this spring, the City of Dawson Creek was approved for a total of $5.9 Million through the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program’s new COVID-19 Community Resilience Stream, funded by the federal and provincial governments for the 102nd Avenue Crossing Replacement. This project was long-awaited by the community, and the City of Dawson Creek is extremely grateful to the federal and provincial governments for selecting this project that will make such an important impact on Dawson Creek residents.”
