Franklin Graham alongside Michael W. Smith are pouring out the love of Christ in Vietnam this week during the Spring Love Festival.

"It was a great night in Ho Chi Minh City!" says Graham on Facebook. "We had beautiful weather and an overflow crowd at the Phu Tho Sports Facility for the Spring Love Festival. We give God all the glory that thousands responded to the invitation to turn from their sins and put their faith and trust in His Son, Jesus Christ."

Graham is the president of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA). The BGEA team is sharing the gospel with the people in Ho Chi Minh City while Smith performs a few songs.

"I want to thank all those who were a part of tonight’s event, our Festival Praise Chorus with Nissi United, Isaac Thái, Lê Nguyệt Anh, Michael W. Smith, Dennis Agajanian, and The Tommy Coomes Band."

Graham shares how thousands of people responded to the gospel call and gave their lives to Christ during the first night of the festival and his hopes as they continued on into day two.

"Tonight in Vietnam!" says Smith in a social media post as thousands sang along to 'Waymaker.' "Atmosphere shifted. No words! Grateful!"

Graham started off his visit in Vietnam with a meeting with Ngo Minh Chau, the Deputy Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee.

"We also held a welcome luncheon which was attended by dozens of area pastors, members of the Vietnamese government and the U.S. Consulate, and others who have partnered with us for the Spring Love Festival. I told the group that even though there are many religions in this world and people have many belief systems, I haven’t come to preach about religion. I’ve come to share with the people of Vietnam how they can have a relationship with God through His Son Jesus Christ."

The team presented Graham and the group with a gift of a painting that portrayed a father hugging his son.

"No matter how far we roam from God, He is ready and waiting to welcome us into His loving arms, if we will turn from our sins and come to Him," says Graham.
