The Maskwôtêh Park pedestrian bridge is officially open to the public.

This bridge connects to the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital grounds through new trails, providing those receiving healthcare at the new hospital access to the beautiful Maskwôtêh Park. It also provides a pedestrian connection for residents from Royal Oaks and Northridge to access the Westgate commercial area, adding to the City's active transportation network.

The Bridge opens just a couple weeks ahead of the official opening of the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital on December 4, 2021.

The project is made possible by the City of Grande Prairie and the Government of Canada's Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program.
