On March 15, 2019 at approximately 8:08 p.m. Peace River RCMP responded to a call of a possibly armed and barricaded male inside a residence near 84 Avenue and 98 Street in Peace River. The scene was immediately contained by the Peace River RCMP and police have since taken one male into police custody without further incident.

The male’s identity will not be released at this time. No one was injured as a result of the incident.

Police continue their investigation into this matter.
