On June 27, 2020 at approximately 8:00 a.m., Hinton RCMP received a report of significant amounts of graffiti at local parks in town. The RCMP take these offenses very seriously and is investigating these incidents.

Police are seeking public assistance in order to identify suspect(s). If you have any surveillance footage, dash camera recordings, or witnessed any suspicious activity taking place in the Hinton community around the local parks between 10:00 p.m. on June 26, and 8:00 a.m. on June 27, 2020, you are encouraged to contact Hinton RCMP at 780-865-5544.

If anyone involved in these graffiti incidents would like to come forward and speak with police, you can do so in person or contact your local police.

The RCMP is mandated to enhance public safety, which includes investigating and prosecuting those who commit acts such as these, ensuring citizens feel welcome and safe in their community. Members from the town of Hinton and the RCMP will be taking the necessary actions required to remove the graffiti.
