Highway 43 at Smoky Hill re-opened, travel still not advisable

Grande Prairie RCMP advise that Highway 43, at the Smoky Hill, is now open to traffic in all directions.

All roadways, in and around Grande Prairie, continue to be icy and snow covered, with reduced visibility. Delays can be expected.

RCMP are asking the public to avoid travel if possible.
