The Grande Prairie Storm have traded forward Carter Myrol to the Canmore Eagles this week to complete a trade made on Jan. 8 for a future consideration.

Lukas Jirousek and defenseman Zac Cunningham were traded back in January in exchange for centre Max Giangualano and defenseman Carter Coles.

Myrol just played his first season in the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL). He scored 7 goals and 11 points in 40 games played for the Storm. In the previous season, Myrol scored 12 goals and 28 points in 34 games with the Northern Alberta Xtreme Midget Prep team in the Canadian Sports School Hockey League.

June 1 marked the beginning of the new fiscal year in the Canada Junior Hockey League, meaning AJHL teams can now officially make player transactions and build their rosters looking forward to the 2020/21 season.
