Grande Prairie, Alta - On Wednesday January 29, 2019, an item appearing to be of sentimental value and believed to contain the ashes of a loved one was turned into the Grande Prairie RCMP Detachment. The item was located near a restaurant around 92 street and 100 avenue.

On January 31, 2019, the owner was reunited with their property at Grande Prairie Detachment.
