Registered Grande Prairie Accessible Transit (GPAT) customers have the opportunity to receive a free round-trip, museum entry and a guided tour to the Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum.

These events are taking place every Saturday and Sunday from March 12 to April 3. Registered GPAT clients can sign up with their bus driver or by calling dispatch at 780-830-7433.

The bus will pick attendees up from their homes and take them to the museum for the one-hour guided tour starting at 2 p.m. Participants will then have additional time to explore the museum until 4 p.m. before the bus drops them back off at their homes.

The City is excited to offer its second GPAT customer appreciation event in the last six months to provide accessible events for community members with disabilities.

About GPAT

Grande Prairie Accessible Transit (GPAT) is an accessible, door-to-door shared transit service for people with permanent or temporary disabilities that prevent them from using fixed-route transit without assistance from another person.

The service picks clients up at an accessible door and drops them off at the accessible door of their destination. Customers must first register, at no charge, for this program.
