On Tuesday Dec. 8 at about 5:45 p.m., Fort St. John RCMP responded to an emergency 911 call for a residential break and enter in progress at the 8900 block of 92A Street in Fort St John. 

Frontline officers responded but all suspects were gone upon police arrival. 

Officers arrived to find the interior of a vehicle in the driveway that had been sprayed with bear mace, another vehicle had a broken window and a basement window on the house had been broken. No entry had been made into the residence and no residents were injured during the incident. It is believed the suspects departed the area on foot. 

Fort St. John RCMP believe this was a targeted incident and do not believe there is any further risk to area residents. 

The Fort St. John RCMP continue to investigate and are asking anyone who may have witnessed this incident, if they may have seen or heard anything suspicious in that area around that time, to contact police and provide any additional information.
