The City of Fort St. John celebrates Small Business Week with the unveiling of a new Business and Investment Assistant.

This digital economic development tool allows local businesses, entrepreneurs, and investors looking to start or grow their business access to research on the local economy and workforce, get advice on starting and growing their business and find contact information for additional resources and organizations that provide business support.

This data is updated routinely from sources such as Statistics Canada, BC Stats, and the City of Fort St. John.

“We are excited to launch the Business and Investment Assistant, which will provide useful data to our business community by helping to promote local advantages, share local insights, and drive economic development. This suite of interactive economic development tools will be of interest to our existing businesses, as well as newcomers to the community by ensuring they have access to the data they need to research local opportunities,” states Jennifer Decker, Manager of Economic Development for the City of Fort St. John.
