A Night For The Museum, held on Sept. 28, raised $80,000, after expenses, providing significant funds for ongoing operations and programming throughout the year.

“This is our biggest fundraising event every year and we’re delighted with this response from the community,” says Executive Director Linden Roberts. “These funds will be put to great use as we move into our fifth year of operation.”

The event, held at the Pomeroy Convention Centre, featured live music, games, an auction, dinner and dancing. More than 280 guests attended the festivities, supported by 20 sponsors.

“We had amazing co-operation from the business community. We extend our thanks to the many sponsors that contributed to the evening’s success,” says Roberts. “It was a fun occasion to celebrate the museum and encourage investment in our programming.”
