Grande Prairie City Council is inviting the community to Council’s Interfaith Breakfast on November 28.

The event brings together residents and faith leaders from across religious backgrounds to gather, build community, and hear from local organizations.

The event occurs on November 28 at 7 a.m. at Teresa Sargent Hall and tickets are available online for $20 at the Bonnetts Energy Centre Box Office.

This year four local faith-based organizations are invited to share with attendees how their faith propels them to serve their community including:

·         Catholic Family Services

·         Grande Prairie Hindu Association

·         Khwahish Foundation

·         Rising Above Ministries

The program includes:

·         7 a.m.         Doors Open

·         7:30 a.m.   Breakfast Served

·         8 a.m.         Program Begins

·         9 a.m.         Event Concludes

“Council’s Interfaith Breakfast brings together Grande Prairie’s faith-based organizations and deepens our connection with Grande Prairie’s faith communities,” said Jackie Clayton, City of Grande Prairie Mayor. “This event supports gathering and helps the City continue our work towards an inclusive and caring community.”
