Further adding to the number of winter outdoor activities, the City of Fort St. John is proud to announce the opening of the Crokicurl rink between the North Peace Leisure Pool and North Peace Arena on Saturday, February 9, 2019.

Crokicurl combines curling and crokinole into an exciting outdoor game for all ages. Using junior curling rocks, the game is played with two teams attempting to score the most points. The game is available between dawn and dusk while the rock cabinet is unlocked.

“This is a fun addition to our Winter City and just another reason why we are ranked as the best place to live in British Columbia,” stated Mayor Lori Ackerman.

Winter Citizens are reminded to not park in accessible parking spaces near the rink and to use caution while walking on the ice.
