The City of Grande Prairie has launched a telephone survey "to better understand the future plans and current needs of local businesses, as well as gain an understanding of how owners/managers view the community as a place to do business." (City of GP).

The City hopes to incorporate the top priorities of local businesses, identify challenges and opportunities that the local business community is facing and continue to grow the City's Economic Development Strategy.

500 randomly chosen local businesses will be receiving calls over the next two weeks to be invited to participate in the 15 minute survey. The surveys will be conducted by MDB Insight Inc., a management consulting firm hired by the City of Grande Prairie.
