The City of Grande Prairie has initiated the sale of the former Fire Hall, located on 102 Avenue between 100 Street and 101 Street, which is currently listed for sale online.
The property located in the Central Commercial District sits on 0.42 acres and includes 8,000 sq. ft. of office space spread over two floors and a 7,000 sq. ft. shop space consisting of eight bays.
On December 13, 2021 Council directed City administration to make the facility marketable and engage the services of a realtor to list the property at market value.
To ensure fair and transparent sale of the property, the City issued a Request for Quote (RFQ) for Commercial Real Estate Services in December.
On February 1, Royal LePage was awarded the RFQ and became the success realtor and the property was publicly listed on February 9.
