In December of 2016, the Yorkton RCMP General Investigation Section (GIS) initiated a fraud investigation into the development of a large retail clothing store on Broadway Avenue in Yorkton, SK.

A general contractor company from Calgary, named GNRL Construction, won a bid to renovate a clothing store. Several other local companies were subcontracted to complete the project.

During the course of the investigation, it was determined GNRL Construction fraudulently failed to pay the subcontractors for the work completed.  The Yorkton GIS have actively been trying to locate the owner of GNRL Construction and have issued a Canada-wide warrant for the arrest of 37-year-old Christos Eutathios Fotopoulos of Calgary, AB. 

Fotopoulos is charged with Fraud over $5000, Theft over $5000 and Breach of Trust under the Criminal Code. He is believed to be in Alberta.
