Alberta saw 622 cases of COVID-19 reported today, from 12,938 tests completed. In the same period, 366 Albertans recovered. 

There are 5,172 active cases in the province and 22,169 recoveries.  

Currently, 140 people are in the hospital with the virus, with 25 of these in intensive care. This is 10 more hospitalizations than yesterday, and seven more ICU admissions.  

Five more deaths are being reported today, for a total of 323 since the start of the pandemic.  

In the City of Grande Prairie today, six new cases of COVID-19 were added, and seven people recovered. There are now 91 active cases and 174 recoveries.  

In the County, three more cases were confirmed, for an active total of 21. There are 72 total recoveries. 

The MD of Peace had two new cases. This puts their active total at 10 and adds them to the province's watch list, with more than 50 active cases per 100,000 people. This means the province is monitoring the risk and discussing with local government and other community leaders the possible need for additional health measures.

The MD of Greenview had one new case and one recovery. In the MD of Fairview, eight new cases were found. Two people recovered in the MD of Spirit River. 

There was one new case in Mackenzie County. The family gathering outbreak in La Crete has been declared over. Outbreaks are declared over when 4 weeks have passed with no new cases.
