100 Avenue between 98 Street and 100 Street is now reopened as construction on Phase 4 of the Downtown Rehabilitation and Streetscapes Project progresses.

The opening of the road marks an important milestone on the project as it indicates the completion of the complex construction work within the roadway to replace and enhance underground infrastructure and reconstruct old roadway and sidewalks.

The west block between 99 Street and 100 Street is completely open to traffic and parking, and the east block between 98 Street and 99 Street is open to one lane of traffic.

The intersection of 99 Street and 100 Avenue is also open to north, south, and westbound traffic.

Crews will continue to install paving stones and complete other items along the pedestrian walkways until the construction site shuts down for winter. The City anticipates some installation of paving stones and the planting of trees and shrubs to take place during in the spring/summer of 2022.
