The intersection of 100 Avenue and 100 Street is reopening to traffic Tuesday, August 10 as construction on the Downtown Rehabilitation and Streetscapes Project moves east.

The opening of the intersection is a significant milestone for the project, as it indicates the completion of underground utility installation on the west end of the project.

The opening was initially anticipated to occur on August 3, however rainfall in mid-July resulted slight delays on the project

Currently, crews are working on concrete curb and gutters, followed by secondary electrical, sidewalks, gravel and roadway paving. Overall, the project is progressing well, with construction continuing to be on schedule for an end of October completion.
