The Grande Prairie Woman’s Show is happening this weekend, bringing all you want and need in one place.

Due to COVID-19, there will be a few changes from previous shows, but as organizer Sandi Stetson says, “It is a little bit different, but it is still going to be a fabulous show.”

This year, they would like everyone to purchase tickets in advance from the Revolution Place box office, online, by phone or in person. Tickets will be sold in one-and-a-half-hour time increments to monitor the number of people in at the show at a time.

Attendees will need to adhere to social distancing and are highly suggested to wear masks.

This year’s show will have many of the same vendors who always come, as well as some new ones.

Sandi says, “That's one of the things that keeps the show very lively and interested if people come 'cause they want to see their favourites that are there every year, pick up their product from them and then there's always some new ones in there that had a little bit of a different touch to it.”

There won’t be any sampling this year, but there will be a variety of tasty foods people can buy.

The Woman’s Show runs from Oct. 16 to 18 at Revolution place. The hours are 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

Information on the show, as well as details on the safety protocols, can be found on the Grande Prairie Woman’s Show Facebook page.
