The City of Grande Prairie has signed a new five-year naming rights agreement with West Fraser for the fieldhouse located at the Eastlink Centre.

The amenity has been renamed as the West Fraser Fieldhouse.

“The West Fraser Fieldhouse signifies a significant investment in our community’s well-being while fostering an environment for competition, active lifestyles and gathering,” said City of Grande Prairie Mayor, Jackie Clayton. “This naming rights agreement not only enhances our recreational offerings but also underscores our commitment to creating a vibrant and inclusive space for residents and visitors alike.”

“At West Fraser, we share a responsibility for the communities where we operate that goes beyond providing safe, sustainable employment – it means investing locally, including supporting community spaces and facilities,” said David Neraasen, Manufacturing Manager, Grande Prairie OSB, West Fraser. “We are very proud to support the West Fraser Fieldhouse, a key community space for organized sports that provides health and wellness opportunities for community members, from children to seniors, including many of our employees and their families.”
