An anthemic and powerful new single is being released by Christian band We Are Messengers.

"We hope the song brings you comfort and encourages you to stay with Jesus no matter what life throws at you," says We Are Messengers on their Facebook page.

The lyric video for 'Come What May' is out and background shots were filmed in Ireland, where the band is originally from.

The single was released on June 11, 2021, and it is the first one made available on their upcoming third studio album. No date has been announced on when the album will be made available.

"It's been a tough season in many ways. I think it's a really important song," says lead singer Darren Mulligan on a Facebook Live video the day after the single was released.

The singer shares that the pandemic has pointed out a clear fact, that no one human is in control of everything.

"‘Come What May’ is a song that not only acknowledges this reality, but revels in the fact that we have a God that loves us and is worthy of our faith, hope, and trust no matter what circumstances we are facing. It’s a celebration of freedom of not having to fabricate a false reality to ourselves and those around us and a declaration of the goodness of God," Mulligan says to The Christian Beat
