The City of Grande Prairie is restoring water to the north and south side sani-dump stations after temporary closures due to unseasonably low temperatures earlier in the month.

Water supplies are available again at the Tourist Information Centre and South Bear Creek Park sani-dump stations. The Rotary Campsite sani-dump still has dumping available, however the water supply remains off.

With below zero evening temperatures predicted in the next few days, water at all campsites will remain off to prevent infrastructure damage. This includes the Nine of Diamonds Campsite and Bear Paw Campsite at the South Bear Creek Park, and the Rotary Campsite.

Annual winterization of the sani-dump stations, including full water shut-downs, is scheduled to take place after the October long weekend.
