Jesus promises that where two or three are gathered he is there with them (Matt. 18:20). And yes, that includes helipads.

A group of nurses in Nashville has gone viral while fighting the coronavirus with medicine and prayer. One of the nurses, Angelas Gleaves, posted a picture of her and her colleagues praying on the roof of their hospital while on a short break.

"When you have a few extra minutes at work you take the time to go to the Helipad and pray," Gleaves says in the post.

Gleaves and her fellow nurses work at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville

"We prayed over the staff in our unit as well as all of the hospital employees. We also prayed over the patients and their families during this trying time. We also prayed for all of our colleagues around the world taking care of patients. It felt good to do this with some of my amazing co-workers. We could feel God's presence in the wind. Know that you are all covered in prayer."

Since making the post last week it's been shared over 1,000 times.

Gleaves and her colleagues aren't the only nurses to take to hospital roofs in prayer, either.

Hospital declares Jesus their way maker

In Georgia, a video was posted to Twitter of a rooftop worship service at Cartersville Hospital.

The video, shared by Kimberly Jefferson, shows staff on the rooftop of the hospital with arms raised in worship as they sing "Way Maker."

Jackson Health System in Miami, FL. also shared a picture of healthcare workers praying on their hospital roof.

"Our team said a prayer, asking God for guidance and protection while we are at work, and to keep us and our families safe," ER tech Danny Rodriguez is quoted as saying in the tweet.
