Justin Bieber led worship at the church he has attended for the past eight years in Beverly Hills.

Churchome, a church pastored by Judah Smith that meets on Wednesday nights, enjoyed a worship service led by Bieber in September.

While Bieber has reportedly used his talents in the past to contribute to worship, this was his first time fully leading the service, reports Faithwire.

The artist performed popular and moving worship songs, including Reckless Love, Good Good FatherSinking Deep, and Never Would Have Made It - songs speaking repeatedly of the goodness of God as our heavenly father, his faithfulness, and his neverending love.

At one point in his performance, Bieber thanked Smith for leading Chromechurch in tears.

Bieber then emotionally addressed the church, saying "there is power in your weakness and being vulnerable." He also encouraged congregants to "be in your own zone and vibe" with God.

Following the set, Smith rejoined Bieber on stage, where Bieber confessed he had not wanted to lead the service because he did not want people to believe he was putting on a show.

Smith then shared Bieber's story with the congregation, and offered support to Bieber, saying the church was willing to risk the chance people might misinterpret Bieber's actions because of their love for the singer.

"Justin,  you are a miracle," Smith said. "You never would have made it without Jesus."

Hailey, Bieber's wife, was also present. Bieber left the service with Jaden Smith.

Bieber has made public his desire to have a closer relationship with God. Last week, he posted an "I love Jesus" graphic on social media.
