RCMP advise that Highway 43 east bound has since cleared. The cause of the collision remains under investigation. 
M.D. of Greenview, Alta. - RCMP advise they are currently on scene of two vehicle collision on Highway 43 east bound near Clarkson Valley Road. East bound traffic is currently being diverted on to a side road.
 
Motorists are asked to travel with caution as delays are expected in the area.
 

STAR was dispatched to the scene and transported a male, approximately 45 years old, to the Queen Elizabeth II Hospital in Grande Prairie. He was in serious condition.
