At the advice of the RCMP, the Hold and Secure at Harry Balfour School has ended. 

There is a heavy police presence patrolling in the area of Harry Balfour School. School staff are taking extra precautions and have placed the school under Hold and Secure to ensure student safety while officials conduct their work. 

School life continues as normal inside the school, however, the precautionary measure to lock school doors is taken to ensure staff and students are safe, and to reduce activity while officials conduct their work.

Access to and from the school is being restricted and carefully monitored.
