Grande Prairie, Alberta -   On April 2, 2019 at approximately 8:15 a.m., Grande Prairie RCMP rural members along with emergency services personnel responded to a collision involving a semi truck. The collision took place on Highway 43, near range road 20.   The driver of the semi was transported by STARS to the QEII hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries. 

RCMP are advising the highway is now clear allowing travel in both directions.  The Semi truck was loaded with diesel fuel which spilled in the area.  Clean up of the area is ongoing.  Occupational health and safety have been notified.
