A rainfall warning has been issued for areas of northwestern Alberta. Rainfall accumulation could exceed 100 millimetres in some localities including Peace River, Fairview, Manning, High Prairie, High Level, Rainbow Lake, Fort Vermilion, and Mackenzie Hwy. 

Heavy rainfall is expected to begin early this evening and persist until Thursday evening. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible.

Rainfall warnings are issued when significant rainfall is expected.
