The latest from Alberta Health shows that 243 new cases of COVID-19 were reported today from 14,881 tests.  

There are now 2,689 active cases, and 18,223 recoveries. Of these, 168 recoveries are new.  

In Grande Prairie, two more cases were reported and there are 43 active cases in the city. The city is on the province’s watch list, but no further measures are being put in place right now.  

There was no change in the County of Grande Prairie, which has five active cases and 62 recoveries.  

Other than in Grande Prairie, there was little change reported in the Peace Region today.  

Both Mackenzie County and Big Lakes County had one case removed from their total. One person recovered in the MD of Lesser Slave River. 

Region totals: 

Hospitalizations in Alberta are up three to 100, with 14 of these in intensive care, one more than yesterday. One more person has died, for a total of 287 in the province.
