According to Environment Canada, conditions are favourable for the development of dangerous thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, small hail and torrential rain in the areas north of the city of Fort St. John, including Buik, Prespatou, Peejay, Highway 97, Wonowon.

As well as the Fort Nelson southern areas including Bucking Horse River, Sikani Chief and all points east to the Alberta border.
