A month after announcing that she has breast cancer the daughter of Billy Graham, Anne Graham Lotz, has revealed the findings of her initial surgery.

Lotz had surgery on September 18 so doctors could learn the severity of her condition. The day before the surgery she wrote on her website, “What I want to convey to so many of you who are praying is that the storms may be swirling around me, but they are not swirling within me.”

She now says that the results of the surgery are somewhat positive.

Lotz wrote on social media that the cancer has not spread.

"Cancer seemed contained with none apparently in the lymph nodes. Praise God!" she wrote.

She also thanked those who have been praying for her.

"God has poured out His blessing. I’m at peace with joy and expectancy that this is a journey He wants me on. I love following the Shepherd!!"
