Grande Prairie, AB – Dec. 4, 2018 – The Salvation Army in Grande Prairie is looking for Donations for its most important fundraiser of the year.

Our Toy Centre allows for parents to choice the toys for their children.  This is another way that The Salvation Army adds Hope and Dignity for struggling families in our community. Last year we helped over 450 children with over 1140 toys and over 250 teen with a Christmas Gift Cards to make their Holidays brighter. We are in need of new and unwrapped toys that can be dropped off at the Food Bank at 9615 – 102 Street, Grande Prairie, AB, T8V 2T8

The Christmas Kettle / Mailer Campaign 2018 target is “$500,000”.

We are currently “$82,386” as of Nov. 30th. With only a few weeks left in the year we hope that the community will help us reach our goal.

Donations will be given a tax deductible receipt for 2018 for donations received before Dec. 31st 2018.  The Salvation Army is major fundraiser is during the Christmas Season and this ensures that we can provide services to the community throughout the year. 

Donations can be dropped off at the Food Bank at 9615 – 102 Street, Grande Prairie

We are currently down on the Kettle and Mailer donations to-date from last year. 

Please partner with The Salvation Army to ensure food security year-round to those in the Grande Prairie area.
