The Robertson family is resting in God's protection after a drive-by shooting on their family property.

The Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office in Munroe, Louisiana arrested a male suspect over the weekend for allegedly shooting at the Duck Dynasty family estate.

The suspect, a 38-year-old man, has been charged with aggravated assault by drive-by shooting, CBN News reports.

Two homes on the Robertson property, owned by Willie Robertson, were hit with bullets. Robertson's son, John Luke Robertson, lives in one of the homes that was shot at with his wife, Mary Kate McEachern, and their infant son.

No one in the family was injured in the shooting.

In an interview, Robertson reported the family was "pretty shook up.

"It looks like they were just spraying bullets across my property," says Robertson, who says between eight and 10 shots were fired.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, several members of the Robertson clan are living on the property, including Robertson's daughter Sadie Robertson. Known for her appearance on Dancing with the Stars, Sadie and her new husband, Christian, have been staying in her parent's home during the pandemic.

"It shook us up of course, but we are just so thankful everyone in our family is okay, especially after one of the bullets flew through the window of my brother's home," Sadie wrote in an Instagram post.

Robertson says nobody was outside when the shooting took place, but "everybody had been out about five minutes before."

"The timing of where we were at the time was crazy protection because we had all just gone inside," Sadie says.

In her post, Sadie shared their family has been "resting on Psalm 91," which is a Psalm of protection.

"Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty," the passage reads in part. "I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust."

The family is grateful to be safe today.

"Thank you for your prayers," says Sadie.
