In a recent Facebook update, the city is excited to hit another major milestone on construction of Phase 4 of the Downtown Rehab Project.

The intersection of 98 Street and 100 Avenue is now open to traffic and has been returned to regular traffic flows.

Construction in the intersection consisted of excavating up to two meters deep to replace the deep underground utilities including sanitary, water, and storm lines.

Crews then backfilled, built the road subsurface, poured concrete curbs and gutters, then paved to roadway.  A final layer of pavement will be laid closer to the completion of the entire roadway within the Downtown Rehab Project Phase 4 construction boundaries.

100 Avenue between 98 Street and 100 Street remains closed for construction.
