Grande Prairie – November 20, 2018 – Today, the Grande Prairie Regional Tourism Association (GPRTA) is proud to announce that Jim Barr, CEO of Seekers Media, will speak at the 2019 Growing the North Conference held at Evergreen Park.

"It’s exciting to have Jim share his knowledge of marketing and the importance of content development to create the stories that make our communities and organizations unique. Jim has worked with our organization, Nitehawk Year-Round Adventure Park, in the past on content creation. Our most recent collaboration has been the #SkiNorthAB Campaign, a collaborative initiative between many Northern AB Ski Areas which has been launched for the 2018 Ski Season, with goals to grow visitation and awareness" said Johnathan Clarkson, Assistant General Manger for Nitehawk Year-Round Adventure Park.

Jim is an entrepreneur who began in print media before transitioning into the multi-media industry. He has made his life’s work inspiring people to get outside and enjoy the world’s best destinations right here in Western Canada. He is an instrumental part of one of Canada’s most successful digital media networks that uses social media, media events, and online storytelling to inspire people to seek new experiences.
