“Community awareness and swift action led to the timely investigation and arrest of those involved in a serious case, removing a significant quantity of dangerous drugs from our community” said McLennan Detachment Commander Sgt. Allan Paterson. “Our successes often stem from community members who are paying attention and call in suspicious or unusual activity. Everyone in our community is committed to keeping it safe and preventing crime. Our best first line of defence is continued open lines of communication and the willingness of our community members to make these reports to the RCMP. We do our jobs best when we work with the communities we serve. Remember: if you see something, say something – the Mclennan RCMP appreciates your calls. If you see something and wonder if you should call it in, the answer is yes.”
