This week 'Don't Lose Heart' hit the top of the charts, making Steven Curtis Chapman a history maker.
Chapman is the first-ever Christian artist with 50 singles that have reached the number-one spot on the music charts.

The first song of Chapman's to hit the top spot was 'His Eyes' back in 1988.
Not only is Chapman the first CCM artist to hit this milestone, but not many other artists have reached it. A few names to have hit 50 number-one singles are Madonna, Conway Twitty, and George Strait.

The most-awarded Christian artist released a new version of 'Don't Lose Heart' alongside country artist Mitchell Tenpenny last week and fans have responded favourably.
Chapman will be kicking off a spring tour this Friday, March 3, across the U.S.A.
