Environment Canada has issued a snow fall warning for Grande Prairie and Dawson Creek:

In Grande Prairie today, a prolonged period of heavy snowfall will bring 20 to 35 cm of accumulation by Thursday. The heaviest snowfall will occur tonight and through the day on Wednesday. Snow will continue Wednesday night and taper off on Thursday.

In Dawson Creek, a Pacific frontal system will stall over the BC Interior giving a prolonged period of snow. Light snow from the system will fall between this morning and Thursday morning. The heaviest period of snow is forecast to be tonight and Wednesday. Total snowfall accumulations of 20 to 30 cm is expected by Thursday morning.
 In addition, an Arctic front moving through the B.C. Peace River District and Pine Pass on Wednesday will produce gusty winds and occasional blowing snow with poor visibility.
