Beginning today, March 6, until March 29, residents of communities in the Grande Prairie area are invited to share their ideas and perspectives on a regional transit network.

The Grande Prairie Regional Public Transportation Study is a collaboration between the County of Grande Prairie, the City of Grande Prairie, and the towns of Beaverlodge, Sexsmith and Wembley. The study will explore combining the region’s existing various independent bus and shuttle transit routes into a single service that will be more efficient, reliable, and convenient.

In addition to seeking feedback from community members, the project team will be engaging with current transit service providers, local governments, and First Nations.

The project team, led by WATT Consulting Group, will hold open houses to start conversations with the public. Attend one of the following locations to provide your feedback or head to www.engagecountygp.ca to access the survey and learn more about the study.

Information will also be sent out via community groups and paper surveys will be available at local municipal offices and public libraries.
