The City of Grande Prairie has made schedule changes for the Eastlink Centre indoor pool and the Aquatera Outdoor Pool based on customer feedback.

The changes went into place starting Monday, July 18. The updates at the Eastlink Centre indoor pool include:

  • Removal of the 30-minute breaks between all public swimming time slots.
  • Lane swimming now available from opening until 8:30 p.m. on Thursdays and opening until 9 p.m. every other day. Lane swimming is available for limited use from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. daily to accommodate programs and bookings.
  • Family swim is no longer restricted to children and their guardian. Slides and river amenities will not be available for use during family swim times to provide a quieter environment.

Aquatera Outdoor Pool Schedule Changes

Updates at the Aquatera Outdoor Pool include:

  • Reduction to one 30-minute break per day from 4 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Lane swimming added Mondays to Fridays from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Please note there are no lane ropes added to the pool during the lane swim times.
  • Removal of adult swim time.
  • Additional public swim times.
