The Rotary Dream Home Lottery opened their doors to the public today (December 27) in Taylor Estates. Carston Siebert, with High Mark Homes, is a custom home builder in Grande Prairie. “High Mark Homes is very pleased to be participating in the Rotary Dream Home once again.  The 2020 Dream Home will be unique from prior years, with grand living spaces and hospitality being a main focus.” Siebert says, “The 2020 Rotary Dream Home will be a twist of FrenchCountry Modern design and sophisticated elements.” The 3045  square foot home will feature 5 bedrooms and 3 ½ bathrooms. The design will showcase, distressed woodwork, metals, organic fabrics, and both vibrant and subdued hues. At its roots, the 2020 Dream Home, illustrates rustic warmth, sleek lines and a comfortable ambiance. Refined simplicity at its finest.”

The 2020 Dream Home is in Taylor Estates. Steve Madden is President of the Rotary Club of Grande Prairie. “We raise money for so many in the community. This year groups that help us sell and therefore receive funding include GPFC Aboriginal Head Start, Dansconnection Parent Group, Grande Prairie Curling Centre, Canadian Parents for French, Grande Prairie & District Pipes & Drums, Gladiators Martial Arts Academy, Ecole St. Gerard Playground Fundraising Society, Grande Prairie Skating Club, Grande Prairie Wrestling Club, Nitehawk Alpine Ski Team. Rotary Club of Grande Prairie Sunrise, Sexsmith Tumbling Club. Grande Prairie Society of Irish Dance, PARDS, Grande Prairie Piranhas Swim Club. Recently we announced funding to several organizations like the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital Foundation, and the D Coy Community Hub Project and others – that was in the millions of dollars. We’re excited to get rolling with another fundraiser that touches so many in our community.” 

Raffle Manager Kevin Hilgers says 2020 will mark the 27th Dream Home built in Grande Prairie. “I know there are some that have been to every Dream Home since day 1. Many make it a Christmas tradition to being the family during the holidays. The Dream home really is part of the fabric of the Peace Country”.
