On Feb. 21, 2023, at approx. 8:30 a.m., Whitecourt RCMP received a report of a robbery at the Fas Gas on Kepler Street. An unknown suspect entered the store pointed a firearm at the cashier and demanded money. The suspect then left on foot.

Responding officers located the gun used and identified it as a loaded CO2 powered BB gun.

While RCMP continue to investigate, we are asking for the public assistance in identifying the suspect.

The suspect is described as:

 

·         Red hoodie and black vest

·         Dark pants/jeans

·         Green or black rubber boots/winter boots

·         Black gloves

·         Black balaclava/mask

·         Dark tinted sunglasses/goggles
