All events at Revolution Place scheduled over the Canada Day weekend are proceeding rain or shine.

Municipal Government Day proceeds today inside Revolution Place from 4:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m.

The free, public event includes a barbeque, bouncy castles, City information booths and a Kid’s Zone. Due to the weather forecast, the carnival rides planned for this event are cancelled.

Rock Downtown on June 28 and June 29 is proceeding, with all concerts moved indoors to the Bowes Events Centre inside Revolution Place. The carnival rides planned for this event will be moved into the Revolution Arena. Food trucks will continue to set up on the H.A. Rice Plaza.

Rock Downtown is a free event, open to everyone in the community.

The Canada Day Carnival continues at Revolution Place on June 30 and July 1 with all features being moved indoors. The carnival rides and entertainment will be moved inside at the Bowes Events Centre and Revolution Arena. Food trucks will continue to set up on the H.A. Rice Plaza.

The Canada Day Parade and events in Muskoseepi Park including the fireworks are still proceeding. Any updates to these events will be posted on cityofgp.com and facebook.com/cityofgp.
