On May 8, 2024, in the early morning, Grande Prairie RCMP was dispatched to a complaint of a suspicious male checking vehicles and looking into windows of houses in the area. This male was located close to the dispatch scene and was arrested.
Christian Deltess (24), a resident of Grande Prairie, has been charged with:
- Attempted Break & enter to a residence;
- Mischief- Obstruct enjoyment of property; and
- Fail to comply with probation order.
After a Judicial Interim Release Hearing, Deltess was remanded into custody and will be appearing in Alberta Court of Justice in Grande Prairie on May 13, 2024.
RCMP is looking for anyone with video footage of a male checking doors to houses, garages and vehicles/going through vehicles in the Royal Oaks/ Northridge neighborhood to come forward. There have been multiple videos posted on a Northridge/Royal Oaks Facebook page depicting a male going through vehicles and attempting to gain entry into houses from April 21 - May 8, 2024. RCMP would like to see these videos.
