GRANDE PRAIRIE — The Alberta Health Services (AHS) Parking Services Office at the Queen Elizabeth II (QEII) Hospital has relocated to a new location, in the lobby of Mackenzie Place.

The new office for Parking Services has been constructed in the lobby of Mackenzie Place and will be open to the public today, Sept. 27, 2018. It will provide service for patients, visitors and staff from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday. These are the same service hours that are being provided in their current space.

The new Parking Services office will also act as a first point of contact for visitors accessing the site from the Mackenzie Place doors.

Parking is available on site 24/7, with applicable fees posted in public parking areas. Weekly and monthly rates are available for patients and visitors requiring longer term parking.

Pay stations for public parking remain conveniently located at the main doors of the QEII Hospital, the Emergency Department entrance, the main entrance to Mackenzie Place and the entrance to the Cancer Clinic.

Parking Services’ move from the QEII Hospital lobby to Mackenzie Place will allow space for the expansion of the switchboard at the QEII Hospital. The switchboard will serve as the central communications hub for both the QEII Hospital and the new Regional Hospital when it opens.
