Outbreak Updates:

There have been 360 cases confirmed in workers at the Cargil plant near High River along with an additional 484 from community spread in the surrounding area.

There is a dedicated AHS team working on reducing spread related to this outbreak. The numbers are expected to increase, as many were exposed up to two weeks ago, before the outbreak was identified.

In relation to the Kearl Lake outbreak north of Fort McMurray, 12 cases have been identified in Alberta and 8 in others. It takes some time to identify cases that are out of province. The confirmed cases are in BC and Saskatchewan, while companies working in Kearl Lake have reported cases in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick
