City Council directed Administration to prepare amendments and bring back further information on the proposed secondary suite changes presented.

At the City Council meeting held June 3, 2024 Council passed the following motions:

·Council direct Administration to prepare amendments to this Bylaw that will require a minimum of 1 parking stall for every secondary suite.

·Council direct Administration to bring back further information regarding garage and garden suites before third reading of this bylaw.

This updated information will be presented at the next City Council meeting held Monday, June 17, 2024.

At the April 16, 2024 Invest GP Committee, Council directed Administration to make amendments to provide additional opportunities for secondary suite development when certain conditions are present.

The City of Grande Prairie held a stakeholder meeting, two public open houses and one public hearing on the matter.
