Peace Wapiti Public School Division (PWPSD) is thrilled to be the recipient of a $7,500 donation from the Grande Prairie Firefighters Charitable Foundation (GPFFCF).

Established in 2007 by the Grande Prairie Firefighters Association, the GPFFCF is a cooperative fundraising body that benefits the citizens of our communities and supports other charities with similar goals and objectives.

The $7,500 is a welcomed boost to lunch programs throughout PWPSD. Assistant Superintendent Shawn O’Shea says schools are very grateful for the support. “This is very exciting! Our lunch programs have felt the pressure of increased food prices, so this donation will be a great help to our students.” PWPSD would like to thank the GPFFCF for its continued partnership and everything it provides to our communities.
